The US branch of the Unfinished Picture Project is currently based out of Seattle, WA. Past participants have hailed from Minnesota and future projects will be in Louisiana. A geographically large and diverse country, US members of UPP work to connect our youth both nationally and globally.
The Seattle Unfinished Picture Project, or SUPP, is a proud partner of Garfield Community Center in Seattle’s Central District. A diverse neighborhood with rolling hills, big old trees, close proximity to Lake Washington, Garfield high school, and tons of delicious Ethiopian restaurants, the CD is a great spot to hone our artistic and documentary skills. With the help of Garfield’s dedicated staff and the use of their RecTech center and equipment, SUPP is able to explore our local community — and share it with the wold — via multimedia blogging, photography, video, and creative writing.
